I just loved everything about getting my education from BTC.
"Nursing is a good secure job, and once I get my RN there are so many different options and branches out there that I’ll never get bored with my job. I loved being a CNA, but all the benefits that come along with moving up in the nursing field helped motivate me to go back to school."
“I was CNA for almost eight years, but ultimately I wanted to be a Nurse Anesthetist. I began working as a CNA a week after I graduated high school, and what really made me want to be a nurse was all of the benefits, the careers, and all the specialties that are available. At first I was kind of nervous about starting at such a small school because I’m not the type of person to get attached, but I do like the smaller school and the help that everyone is willing to offer. Wendy and Avril in Financial Aid guided me step by step through the loan process and directed me where to sign up for everything. They were more than willing to walk me through the whole process. There was never a problem with me just coming right up to the office and talking with them about something. One time I was getting calls about student loans and I just wanted to make sure that it wasn’t a scam; I just walked up to the office and they were able to help me. Overall, Admissions and Financial Aid were very helpful when I came to the school, and they’re super accessible once you’re a student too.

BTC prepared me for work after graduation because we had this awesome simulation lab, so you couldn’t hurt anybody, but you could make mistakes and learn from them. Then we got to go to all different places for our clinical sites in our third semester. We worked in clinics, long term care facilities, different hospitals, and just getting that diverse exposure prepared us so well. I just loved everything about getting my education from BTC.”
