Felisha is the Introduction to Sociology instructor for our online students and offers a great perspective from her experience. She has been a professor for 5 years and has worked in social services for over a decade. "The populations I've served have had mental health diagnosis, foster care experience, intellectual disabilities, etc. I know that we all come from different walks of life and different backgrounds. I think it is important to have both the Practical knowledge with hands-on experience as well as the book knowledge to the fields that we are teaching," Felisha said.
She graduated from Texas Woman's University in 2013 with a Bachelors in Arts degree, Master of Arts degree in 2015, and is working toward her Doctorate degree.
